Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay designed Musgrove Mill in 1988 on the Enoree River, on the site of the 1780 Revolutionary War Battle of Musgrove Mill. Ranked #23 in South Carolina by Golf Digest and a former host of the 2002 U.S. Mid-Amateur. Now part of the McConnell Golf portfolio. Slope 153 is among the highest in South Carolina from the back tees.

Palmer routed the course to reward controlled ball-flight. The tips at slope 153 will chew up a hero — play the second or third set of tees on your first round and let the course reveal itself before you attack it.

Great walking course for pace-of-play work. Play a two-ball match at speed — you'll finish 9 holes in under 90 minutes and sharpen your rhythm before a country club round.
