For local businesses eager to participate, there’s no cost to get involved. All businesses in Laurens County can sign up until April 23, 2025. What’s included? Well, participating businesses will proudly display a special ‘Shop Local’ window cling to showcase their commitment to the community. Their details will also be featured on the official Shop Local Laurens County website, making it easier for residents to find and support them!
The Chamber isn’t stopping there! They’re ramping up the excitement on social media with promotional opportunities. That’s right; businesses will have their moment in the spotlight as the Chamber films business spotlight videos to share across their Facebook page. Talk about getting noticed!
And here’s some delightful news for shoppers: all participating businesses will be featured on a discount card for 2025! This gem will be available for free to locals starting on the launch date. When you hit the shops, this card allows you to snag a 10% discount on one visit to each participating store throughout the year. Just remember, although businesses will determine where the discount applies, make sure to have the card ready at the checkout!
What’s more, this initiative is open to any and every business in Laurens County, not just Chamber members. There’s absolutely no financial buy-in required for participation in 2025! This means everyone gets a chance to shine and connect with local shoppers.
