**Clinton, S.C** – On Wednesday, Nordson Industrial Coating Systems (ICS) shared some thrilling news: they are setting up a spanking new **$30 million facility** in Laurens County. This new venture is expected to create **125 new jobs** in fields like machining, production, engineering, and management.
The facility is all geared up to be stationed at **19375 Highway 72 E in Clinton**. David Titone, Vice President of Nordson ICS, couldn’t hide his excitement, saying, “**We are very excited to be part of South Carolina’s upstate manufacturing sector**. It has been a pleasure working with the state of South Carolina, Laurens County, and the City of Clinton on our new facility.”
Nordson’s ICS division has a rich history dating back to 1954 when they started to produce and market airless spray equipment. These days, **manufacturers rely heavily on ICS equipment for the precise application and curing of powder coatings, liquid paint, ambient temperature adhesives, and sealants**. This powder is vital for preventing corrosion on metal items ranging from hub caps to dishwashers to soda caps.

Randy Randall, Mayor of the City of Clinton, shared, “**The City of Clinton would like to welcome Nordson to Clinton and the Clinton 26 Commerce Park**.
