On Tuesday, July 2, Fountain Inn will hold an Independence Day celebration starting at 6 p.m. and concluding at 9:30 p.m. On Independence Day itself, the Gray Court Town Park is the site for a stunning firework exhibition starting at 9 p.m. And finally, Saturday, July 6, the sky above Camp Fellowship will be lit up with an awe-inspiring fireworks presentation from 4 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., as part of the ‘Lights on the Lake’ occasion.
Before the official date, the June 29 weekend will come alive with the Ware Shoals 4th of July Celebration. Scheduled from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., the night will hit its climax with the commencement of a dazzling firework show at 9 p.m. rendering the night sky aglow with the vibrant colors of celebration.
In keeping with the spirit of the season, the Heart of L.C.A.C, a volunteer organization that aids the Laurens County Animal Shelter and Animal Control, will hold a microchip clinic for pets on Friday. The opportunity will offer pet owners the chance to microchip their pets, ensuring their tracing in case they wander away in the colorful chaos of the festivities. The clinic will be operational from 6-8 p.m., with each pet microchip and registration costing $20. Multiple payment modes, including PayPal and Venmo, will be accepted to ensure a smooth, trouble-free process for the public.
