This weekend, Houston high school football teams took center stage in the playoffs, delivering thrilling performances on the field. Several schools dived into the action, with standout games that kept fans on the edge of their seats.

In a dominating display, North Crowley crushed Byron Nelson with a score of 56-21. This victory highlighted North Crowley’s powerful offense and solid defense. Meanwhile, Weslaco blanked San Benito, finishing with a score of 28-0, showcasing their ability to control the game effectively.

Tomball edged out Cypress Springs with a close score of 35-25. It was a tightly contested match where both teams displayed their competitive spirit. In another exciting area battle, Houston Heights defeated Houston Memorial 42-21, with Heights showing impressive teamwork.

The Lufkin team put on a show, routing Houston Milby with a significant score of 63-14. This performance reflects Lufkin’s strength as they push forward in the playoff race. In Region IV, New Braunfels soared past SA Northside Jay with a score of 56-16.
