In girls’ soccer, the Pine team celebrated a dominant victory against Martin County, winning the match with a score of 8-0. Leading the charge was Giovanna Waksman, who scored an impressive 5 goals. The next match for Pine is set for 3:30 p.m. Tuesday against Fort Pierce Central.
Another exciting match occurred when Okeechobee went up against Port St. Lucie, with Okeechobee securing a 7-1 win, improving their record to 3-1. Meanwhile, South Fork fell behind to Fort Pierce Central with a score of 10-0.
In another close matchup, Martin County faced Lincoln Park Academy and won 7-1, demonstrating their strength in the league.
Looking ahead, Pine hopes to continue its winning streak, while Fort Pierce Central will aim to rebound in their upcoming games.
Highlighting individual performances, Alexander Weinberg from Pine Crest led the first day of a recent tournament with an outstanding score of 67, followed closely by Luke Gossett from Clearwater Central with a score of 68.
