In a tight contest in West Clermont, the local high school basketball team narrowly defeated St. Ursula with a final score of 47-44. This victory marks West Clermont’s first win of the season, bringing their record to 1-0. The game was closely contested throughout, with St. Ursula holding a slim lead of 20-19 at halftime.

Tyler Hale was the standout player for West Clermont, scoring an impressive 28 points during the game. His performance was critical in securing the win. Other contributors included Riffle and Fender, who helped add a combined 10 points. On St. Ursula’s side, Shay Nichols led the team with 16 points, supported by Houston with 10 points and O’Toole contributing 8 points.

Over in Colerain, the home team faced off against Ursuline Academy and secured a hard-fought 49-42 victory, making their record 1-1. The teams were competitive, with Colerain leading 23-18 at halftime. Garza22 points, while Colerain had multiple players contributing, including Miller and Johnson, both scoring 11 points each.

Madeira had a dominant performance against Seven Hills, winning convincingly at 64-30. Meanwhile, Oakwood edged out Edgewood with a final score of 44-38.

In Bowling action, Mercy McAuley achieved a significant victory over Roger Bacon with a total score of 2484 to 1629. Rottinghouse led the team with a standout score of 394. Additionally, in a close match, Reading defeated Deer Park with a score of 2520-2201, where Mil stood out for Deer Park with a leading score of 504.
