Glastonbury, CT – In an exciting high school sports lineup this Friday, the Glastonbury girls’ soccer team delivered a convincing performance against Hamden in the CLASS L first round. The game saw Glastonbury dominate with a score of 6-1. Addison Infante was the star of the match, netting three goals for her team. Other contributors included Samantha Kohlun, Zoe White, and Deirdre McKiernan, who each scored once. Hamden’s Lexy Patel managed to find the back of the net to avoid a shutout.

In volleyball action, Seymour faced off against Wilcox Tech in the CLASS M second round and swept the match with a score of 3-0 (25-14, 25-9, 25-4). Ana Overkamp was a standout player, contributing 6 kills to the match. Kenzie O’Hayre shone on defense with 8 digs, and Ryan Sadick added 9 kills to secure the win.
Meanwhile, Innovation took on Coginchaug in the CLASS S second round, winning a closely contested match 3-2. Patrina McHugh led the defense with 10 digs, and Madison Ramos supported with 11 digs. Phoebe Candy played a crucial role with 8 kills, while Sezja Jacobs was instrumental with 3 blocks throughout the match.
