Geneva’s Bowling Teams Dominate Wayne Central in 5-0 Matches

Geneva, NY – On a chilly Wednesday afternoon at Sunset Bowl, the Geneva bowling teams claimed impressive victories over Wayne Central, with both the boys’ and girls’ teams winning their matches 5-0.

Leading the charge for the Geneva boys was Jayden Jackson, who bowled a stunning 659 pins, capturing the match high. His performance set the tone for the team’s success and helped secure a decisive win against Wayne Central.

Junior Alexander Dorrington also contributed significantly to the victory with a solid score of 462 pins, while sophomore Samuel Schading added 483 pins. The teams’ efficient performance gave Geneva a perfect outcome against their rivals.

On the girls’ side, senior Eliciana Wiggins-Gomez led the way with an impressive 427 pins, while junior Peyton Taylor scored 473 pins, showcasing their incredible skills on the lanes. Senior Megan Gage also played her part, finishing with a series total of 306 pins.

Both teams showed great teamwork and skill, which has been a highlight of their season. The victory has brought their season records to 19-21 for the boys and 11-29 for the girls, and they look forward to their next matches, with the boys’ team scheduled to face Mynderse Academy at Sunset Bowl on January 8.

The Geneva teams proved to be a strong force in the Finger Lakes league this season and will aim to continue this momentum into future matches.

Upcoming matches include Wayne Central’s boys and girls competitions at Roseland Bowl on December 26, starting at 9 a.m.
