Exciting High School Football and Basketball Matchups Leave Fans Thrilled in Covington

In Cincinnati, the high school basketball season is heating up with a series of exciting matchups and impressive performances on the court. Recent games have seen multiple teams display their skills, making for an engaging start to the season.

One of the standout games featured St. Henry, who triumphed over the Cincinnati Trailblazers with a commanding score of 62-30. St. Henry built a strong lead by halftime, leading 38-16. Key contributors for St. Henry included McIntire, who scored 13 points, and Reis with 11 points. The Trailblazers’ top scorers were Enders and Bradley, both finishing with 8 points.

Another notable game took place when Beechwood secured a victory against Grant County, wrapping up with a score of 61-47. Meanwhile, Highlands showcased their prowess, defeating Scott with a final tally of 77-62.

Newport dominated their game against Dayton with a decisive score of 65-26. Similarly, South Oldham edged out Ryle in a close contest, finishing with a score of 71-66.

In a hard-fought match, Middletown overcame Anderson by just two points, with a final score of 50-48. This was one of the closest matches of the night, showcasing both teams’ competitive spirit. Riep led Middletown with 13 points, providing crucial support in the tight encounter.

Another game to highlight was between Shroder and Northwest, where Shroder emerged victorious with a score of 49-32. Armstrong was the top scorer of the night, finishing with 18 points.

Also in the spotlight were Notre Dame, who defeated St. Ursula by a score of 52-35, thanks largely to Holtzapfel, who scored 20 points in the match.
