Introducing Della Crema, the newest addition to Main Street, set to open at 126 E. Main St. between the charming stores of Limitless and Perfectly Imperfect. The name “Della Crema” is an affectionate nod to the Italian term meaning “of the cream,” representing that rich, frothy layer that crowns a perfectly made espresso.

The face behind this engaging venture is none other than Tim Davis, a passionate barista with years of experience in the coffee shop scene. After the bittersweet closure of Courthouse Coffee, Davis’s previous home, he and his girlfriend decided it was a great time to launch what he’s always dreamed of—a coffee shop that embodies comfort and a welcoming atmosphere.

From Temporary Closure to a New Beginning

Not long ago, Davis was surprised by a GoFundMe campaign launched by his girlfriend on his final day at Courthouse Coffee. The response was overwhelming, with donations pouring in from his loyal customers and community supporters. “The cool thing about the GoFundMe was it was a surprise,” he said, smiling at the memory. “My girlfriend set up an initial amount, and it was met overnight. I have an awesome, dedicated following of regular customers, and to see their support is really awesome.”

A Cozy Coffee Corner

As the painting, decorating, and bar building come together, Davis is focused on creating a vibe that goes beyond just good coffee. He envisions a place filled with cozy nooks, inviting couches, and comfy chairs—a space where people can not only grab a quick cup but really settle in and enjoy the moment. “One of the biggest things I’m going for is an even more comfortable vibe than any other coffee shop I’ve seen,” he enthusiastically shared. “My goal is to bring that great feel to Laurens.”

A Full Menu of Deliciousness

So, what can patrons expect at Della Crema? Davis is excited to offer a full menu featuring an array of coffee options, including rich espressos, creamy lattes, and refreshing cold brews, along with some creative concoctions that he’s bound to dream up on a whim.
