Central Georgia High School Football Playoffs Heat Up

Macon, Ga. — The excitement of fall sports is palpable as Central Georgia teams push through the toughest part of their postseason. The flag football and softball seasons are reaching their exciting conclusions, with many local schools gearing up for playoffs. Let’s dive into some highlights from this week’s games.

In flag football action, Toombs County showcased a strong performance, winning against ACE with a score of 14-0. Screven County managed to edge out Georgia Military College with a tight score of 1-0, while Bremen defeated East Laurens with a score of 7-3. Lassiter dominated in their game, taking down Houston County with a decisive 11-0 win.

Other notable matchups included West Laurens beating LaGrange 5-2, Pike County‘s strong performance against Northeast with a score of 12-0, and Westside overpowering Veterans with a score of 12-6. Mary Persons also showed their strength by defeating Southwest 13-0.

As teams continue to fight for their spots in the playoffs, the atmosphere is filled with anticipation and hope.
