  • Darius Butler: This former NFL cornerback and safety dazzled crowds during his time at Coral Springs Charter School and later went on to enjoy a successful nine-year NFL career.
  • Abbas Karimi: A paralympic swimmer and refugee from Afghanistan, Karimi earned two silver medals for Team USA and is known for his remarkable story of resilience.
  • Diana Nyad: An incredible long-distance swimmer, Nyad is celebrated for becoming the first person to swim from Cuba to Florida, showcasing the power of determination.
  • Steve Shapiro: The beloved former sportscaster left a lasting mark on the South Florida sports scene during his more than three-decade career.
