Laurens Family’s Daily Adventures at Big Air Laurens Create a Community Phenomenon

Laurens Family Embraces New Adventure at Big Air Laurens

In the cheerful town of Laurens, the Spivak family has found a new beloved hotspot: Big Air Laurens. Though they missed the grand opening on August 17, they made their debut just six days later, and since then, there’s been no stopping them. As of Wednesday, they have joined the fun for 21 consecutive days—and counting!

A Family Tradition in the Making

The Spivak family, consisting of mom Amy, dad Shawn, and their energetic 10-year-old daughter Brooke, have made it a point to visit this exciting venue. “Brooke just fell in love with everything Big Air has to offer,” Amy explained, beaming with pride. “She loves to do backflips and really enjoys the in-air course up high. Honestly, we haven’t even had time to bowl yet with all the jumping and fun!”

Brooke’s best friend, Kylie Cheshire, has joined in on the daily visits too, creating a bond that keeps them returning for more thrills. The duo often brings along additional family members, like Kylie’s brother Kaysen and Amy’s granddaughter, Vada. “It’s like an adventure every day!” said Amy. “The girls are on the phone discussing their plans right after school. Sometimes, we’re so busy, but even then, we’ll sneak in a quick 30-minute jump!”

A Community Phenomenon

What started as a personal challenge for Brooke has transformed into a community event. The Spivaks have taken to Facebook to share their fun daily updates. “At first, she said she would stop at day 10, but I had a feeling it wouldn’t end there,” shared Amy. “Now, people are actually rooting for her, cheering her on to keep the streak alive.”

Shawn added, “It’s great because the venue has a big picnic table that we fill with friends. While the kids leap around, we can enjoy some adult conversation and connect with fellow parents. Plus, the staff keeps a close eye on the kids, which gives us peace of mind.” The family atmosphere at Big Air Laurens has made it feel like a second home for the Spivaks. “We’ve even joked about Big Air date nights!” Shawn laughed.

Embracing the Challenge

Brooke is fully committed to her Big Air experience, sometimes wearing as many as ten bracelets to represent her visits. Her excitement is contagious, and the family can’t help but join in the fun. “I told Jake, the owner, that if we are going to be there so often, I might as well fill out a volunteer application!” smiled Shawn.

As their streak continues, the Spivaks are also planning an upcoming vacation, which complicates their daily adventures. “Maybe we’ll find a Big Air at our vacation spot!” Shawn mused, clearly eager to keep the fun going. They are determined to make their ongoing streak a priority, even if it means quick visits in between family plans.

Big Air’s Exciting Offerings

Located in a sprawling 40,000-square-foot venue, Big Air Laurens offers much more than just jumping. It features a trampoline park, traditional bowling alleys, axe-throwing bays, pool tables, and a large arcade. Visitors might also find a full-service lunch and dinner restaurant on-site, making it an excellent spot for family outings.

If you’re in Laurens, be sure to stop by and check it out—you’re likely to see the Spivak family there, bouncing around with joy. For those who want to keep up with Brooke’s streak, head over to Amy Spivak’s Facebook page for daily updates. Big Air isn’t just a place to play; it’s quickly becoming a vibrant part of the community!
