Hey there, Greenwood residents! March is shaping up to be an incredibly vibrant month for arts and culture in our charming little city. From mesmerizing performances to local exhibits, there’s something for everyone to enjoy from March 8 to March 19, 2025.
Before diving into the festivities, let’s talk about the weather! On March 8, we’re expecting a delightful day with sunshine in the morning and a few clouds rolling in later. The high is a pleasant 74°F, so it’s the perfect opportunity to step outside and soak up the sunshine. Light winds from the west at 10 to 20 mph will make for a wonderful day, but be prepared for the evening to turn a bit cooler. Expect a low of around 44°F as the skies become more overcast overnight. So, keep a light jacket handy if you’re planning to head out!
If you love art, make sure to stop by the Lander University Art Gallery this month! The ongoing Student Juried Exhibit runs until March 19 and showcases work from talented students. The weekend doesn’t slow down! Check out the Ales for Trails 5k and Beer Tasting event on Saturday, March 15. This fun event starts at 11 a.m. but be sure to register at 10 a.m. at 906 South Main St, with all proceeds supporting the Greater Greenwood Parks and Trails Foundation. What a wonderful way to combine fitness with philanthropy!
