CLINTON, S.C. – On Wednesday, Nordson Industrial Coating Systems (ICS) revealed plans for a new $30 million facility in Laurens County. This exciting development will bring about 125 new jobs in various fields such as machining, production, engineering, and management.

The New Facility

The new facility is set to be located at 19375 Highway 72 E in Clinton. The company highlighted the synergy experienced while collaborating with South Carolina authorities and local entities in Laurens County and the City of Clinton. David Titone, Vice President of Nordson ICS, shared, “We are very excited to be part of South Carolina’s upstate manufacturing sector.”

About Nordson ICS

Founded in 1954, Nordson’s ICS division has a rich history of producing and marketing airless spray equipment. Today, manufacturers rely heavily on ICS equipment for the precise application and curing of powder coatings, liquid paint, and ambient temperature adhesives and sealants. This technology is crucial for preventing corrosion on various metal items, including hub caps, dishwashers, and soda caps.

The announcement has been met with enthusiasm from local leaders. Randy Randall, Mayor of the City of Clinton, warmly welcomed the company, stating, “The City of Clinton would like to welcome Nordson to Clinton and the Clinton 26 Commerce Park.” He also expressed his excitement about the company’s commitment to the city and wished them success with their new facility.

Job Opportunities

With the creation of 125 new job positions, Nordson is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join their team. Those interested in being part of Nordson can find more information and apply via their official website.
